SENIOR MECHANIC

This is a full-time position; benefits available, including 401(k); health, vision, dental, and life
insurance; employee assistance program; paid vacation and holidays.

Starting at $25.09 per hour.

  • The Senior Mechanic performs a wide variety of maintenance and mechanical tasks, including
    the following:
    Safely performs all work in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy and Job Safety
    Procedures.
  • Makes manual adjustments to the steam boilers while servicing the equipment.
  • Performs work at the journeyman level in three of the following maintenance mechanical
    skill areas:

    • Machinist
    • Millwright
    • Automotive
    • Mechanic
    • Certified Welder
    • Ironworker/Rigger
    • Electrician
    • Instrument Technician
    • Pipefitter
    • General Repair
  • Troubleshoots and resolves maintenance and mechanical problems in the maintenance
    mechanical skill areas.
  • Directs the activities of Maintenance employees in subordinate job classification as may
    be assigned to the job, including explaining new jobs and work procedures.
  • Promptly and proficiently performs related work as required.
  • Must follow practices of cGMP and food safety standards when entering ammonium
    sulfate production and packaging areas. This includes an obligation to report any
    concerns with the Food Safety Management System.
  • Member of the HazMat team.

Must have (or be willing to obtain) a High Pressure Boiler Operator License.

LATEX OPERATOR

This is a full-time position; benefits available, including 401(k); health, vision, dental, and life insurance; employee assistance program; paid vacation and holidays.

No prior latex plant operator experience is necessary; GAC will provide all required training.

Starting at $23.35 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating all equipment, including pumps, dispersers, flow instruments, etc. to manufacture products in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Handling raw materials and finished products in accordance with established safety rules.
  • Transferring finished products and raw materials between various vessels within the plant, including computing and recording vessel levels.
  • Maintaining daily logs and other records required.

MATERIAL HANDLER

This is a full-time position; benefits available, including 401(k); health, vision, dental, and life insurance; employee assistance program; paid vacation and holidays.

Starting at $21.17 per hour.

The Material Handler is responsible for various tasks, including:

  • Loading/unloading trucks, railcars, or other containers;
  • Storing inventory and completing documentation;
  • Providing forklift support throughout the plant, safely moving material as needed;
  • Keeping work areas clean;
  • Distributing materials to appropriate locations;
  • Operating chemical processes in a backup capacity;
  • Providing assistance to operators and other employees to meet production objectives.

Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is helpful but not required. GAC will provide all necessary training.
